I have had Tom as my PT for 18 months and have seen a major improvement in my strength and body shape.

He has a tailored approach to my needs and abilities , with all equipment to support.

Being a sports therapist as well, it means he can guide me through any pain I have, and adjust training accordingly.

He’s also got a great sense of humour, and the right balance of pushing me without being a bully!

Friendly, funny, driven and motivating - Tom’s classes and PT sessions are the first time I’ve ever enjoyed working out this much.

I’ve been going for the last 3+ years, and I’d recommend him to anyone!

Highly recommend Tom as a personal trainer. He is very knowledgeable and designs programs that are fun and challenging.

Personal Training, Sports Therapy & Injury Rehabilitation

I started working in the fitness industry in 2012 after graduating in Sports Development and Coaching Sciences from Bournemouth University, but I’ve always lived an active lifestyle, and have been studying health, fitness practices and nutrition for nearly a decade now.

In the last five years I’ve taught spin classes, circuit classes, kettlebell technique, completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Sports Nutrition, run a marathon, coached rugby and qualified as an accredited Personal Trainer and Sports Therapist (to name but a few) - it’s been busy! I’m a big believer in knowledge being power, and regularly attend industry events whilst planning my next course goal.

I believe that simple programmes can often be the most effective, and that fitness is for life - it’s not about a crash 8-week bikini body plan, or a quick-fix six-pack, it’s about being able to run faster, move easier, feel stronger and eat better every day, and set up the habit of a lifetime.

During Personal Training or Sports Therapy sessions I focus on understanding you, your body, your habits and the type of exercise that works best for you - every body is different, and my training reflects that. Working together, we’ll establish a baseline, set goals, monitor progress and plan for the future both in terms of exercise schedules and gym programmes, and diet plans.

My Personal Training programmes are suitable for all abilities and ages, with the ethos centring on inclusivity, encouragement and, crucially, personal achievement. Building up my PT has been a fantastic journey, and - as cheesy as it sounds - helping people achieve their goals is without doubt the best part of the job.

I work across South East London, with clients in East Dulwich, Peckham, Nunhead, Camberwell and beyond, and can take sessions either at your home, in Peckham Rye Park, Dulwich Park or at Fison Fitness Studios, in Herne Hill.

Outside of sessions, I’m a keen runner, swimmer, cyclist and rugby coach, and love to ski (when I get chance!). I also took part in the 2012 Olympics as a Gamesmaker, which was one of the things that really fuelled my love for community fitness.
